covid-19 quarantined collaborative creative challenge… accepted!

Here is the second video in our quarantine collaboration challenge where the group of friends I cobble together a short script along with some iPhone pics and voice memos to make a short clip highlighting one of our favorite characters in the hive. 

Garrett has a brutish Judge Dredd themed Enforcer gang as well as a Van Saar gang for Necromunda but mainly plays AdMech for 40k. Echo-77 is kitbashed from a mix of Astra and Ad Mech bits and goes trawling the hive for loot that’s just a bit too nice for gangers and hive scum to handle.

 

Background on the COVID-19 Quarantined Collaborative Challenge.. 

The rules:

  1. Each of us has to write a 1 minute film noir style script in a Necromundan/futuristic hive city setting
  2. Our definitely-not-coerced resident voice actor and gaming compatriot Garrett would have to read the lines and send them (iPhone voice memos, yay!)
  3. If the script had any characters that I didn’t have pics of they had to be provided (simple iPhone pics on a white background, yay!)
  4. The whole video had to be made from scratch and uploaded within 24 hours of getting the script

We are calling this video series “Portraits of the Underhive” and we will see how many we can bang out as we all endeavor to stay sane and productive during our window of time stuck indoors…
